PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING
Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on August 24, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on September 28, 2009 ("Promotion Period"). The winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries received according to the Entry Chart below.
1) HOW TO ENTER:
Access the sweepstakes website online at
http://homeyet.lifestyle.msn.com and fully complete and submit the online entry form presented. Entrants must complete all required information on the online entry form to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Multiple entries submitted by a single entrant in excess of the entry limit are void. Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of delivery. No entry materials received by the Sponsor will be returned. "Releasees" (as defined below) assume no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, garbled or misdirected entry materials, or for any computer, online, telephone, human, or other error or for any technical or other malfunctions that may occur. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, or incomplete entries will be accepted.
2) WINNER SELECTION/DEADLINE DATES:
Random drawings will be conducted from among all eligible entries that have been properly registered online according to the Entry Chart below. Entries will only be eligible for the Entry Period for which they are received. Entries will not be eligible for subsequent Entry Periods. The drawings will be conducted under the supervision of an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for each Entry Period drawing.

3) PRIZE:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded per Entry Period: $5,000 cash, awarded as a check from the Sweepstakes Administrator and personalized design tips from Monica Pederson. Total Value (ARV) of all prizes: $25,000. All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs related to the prize not specifically stated within these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize will be awarded by U.S. mail and/or overnight delivery service. No substitution, redemption, or assignment of prize permitted. However, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event prize is unavailable. Complete terms of design consultation will be provided at time of prize award.
4) ELIGIBILITY:
This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Microsoft Corporation ("Sponsor"), World Market Center, LLC. , their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, promotion, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members and persons living in the households of each are not eligible to enter. All federal, state, and/or local rules and regulations apply.
5) GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules. The laws of the United States govern this sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The winners will be notified at the postal and/or e-mail address provided at time of entry and must respond to the notification request as instructed. Winners also may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and, where legal, Publicity Release within 10 days following the date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance with this time period or instructions or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. This includes, but is not limited to, disclosing the winner's first name, last initial, and hometown in any requested winners list. By entering, participants and winners release and hold harmless Microsoft Corporation, World Market Center, LLC., Ogilvy, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, prize suppliers, employees, officers, directors and agents ("Releasees") from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize won and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation and/or invasion of privacy.
6) INTERNET:
The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited. If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, telephone service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or phone numbers for the Internet or phone number domain associated with the submitted e-mail address or phone number.
7) USE OF DATA:
Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the Sponsor's privacy policy at
http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/default.mspx. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy.
8) WINNERS LIST:
To receive a copy of the Winners List, available after October 30, 2009, send an e-mail with subject line: "Is it Home Yet? Sweepstakes Winners" to
msinfo@mardenkane.com. Requests must be received by November 30, 2009.
